i’m back at the internet place with crazy rates. it’s like the only place in toowong with internet x.x

i know i typed this in the email but i’m gonna type it again here, just for the record.

alright back to the 3rd, the 8 hour flight was a tad too long for me. they’ve got a really good selection of movies and tv shows on malaysian airlines though. grey’s anatomy, everybody loves raymond and bourne ultimatum kept me company :) of course i slipped in a few hours of sleep because if i didn’t sleep then well, i wouldn’t be kay lynn now would i? xD

we reached sydney at around 10.25 pm local time. took a transit to brisbane after. we had friends waiting for us at the airport and they were so nice, pretty much stocked us up with enough food and sustenants for the rest of the week o.o

brisbane is really nice though alot more quiet and less hectic compared to KL. you only see high rise buildings in the city. most of the residential areas are in the suburbs. lotsa trees and bush around and the houses are very country heights like. there’s no terrace houses around here. and it’s great cause you could be living in a suburb with lotsa nice greenery yet reach the city in like 10 minutes.

but.

the roads T.T

they’re so hilly. it seriously makes you go whoaaa before going down a slope. if u were to cycle down the hill i think there’s a pretty good chance you’ll fly off your bike at some point. now how am i ever gonna pass my driving test over here? x.x please tell me.

okay the weather. because i know most of you wanna know what the weather is like down here. it’s no different from malaysia at the moment, today at least. it’s pretty random, sometimes it’s sunny other times it rains alot but on the whole, it’s always sunny. that’s why they call brisbane sunshine state over here :) yesterday was nice though it was cool all day, not hot even though the sun was out. very unmalaysian. and no rain. me likes!

i’ve been to a fair amount of shopping malls so far. caught enchanted again on cinema xD none of them match up to pavilion or midvalley of course. i’m gonna miss those ridiculously large malls :( also, the shops here close too darn early. 5 pm is not sufficient time for shopping sigh.

what i love about it here though is how simple the people are. i can be out and about in just shorts (like i am now :P) and just blend in xD i know it’s summer but still. one time there was this guy who was just in shorts. no shirt. that wasn’t a very pleasant sight though ;S and they like going barefooted around here even in malls o.O

i’ve taken lotsa pictures in my phone. many things i wanna share with you guys but now’s not the time. be patient with me okay? how many times have i said this T.T but yeah sorry for the lack of updates, it’s kinda hard to because the internet at my current place can’t access lotsa sites. wordpress and hotmail included which explains me resorting to this internet place. with crazy rates. i have to add that part. 5 dollars an hour is pretty ridiculous, no? doesn’t stop them guys behind me from playing dota though. they’ve been cursing at the server and each other the whole time i was here x.x

alrightey i gtg. keep in touch alright guys? sorry i can’t reply the emails yet i will though some time in the future when there’s more reliable internet within reach xD

alright here’s an actual up to date post because i don’t think i’ve got time to update on the days before yet. but i will so keep looking out for posts popping up underneath this one okay? xD

currently, my house is empty. i’m using a laptop that’s plugged directly to the internet cable hence the blogging opportunity. the laptop’s on a box and i’m sitting on the floor :( i’ve got pictures but the point of this post is for me not having to transfer pics for once. neways tonight’s my last night here at home, i can’t help feeling sad. i grew up here and i can’t imagine feeling at home anywhere else. but oh wells, new things come and i’ve gotta embrace it right?

these last few days have been tiring both physically and emotionally. saying goodbye to friends and loved ones isn’t something i expected to experience so soon. i mean, yeah i’m aware that we’re all gonna go our separate ways eventually just not… just not so soon. so i wanna take this opportunity to thank everyone. i’m sure you guys know who you are. thanks so much for the farewell and the card you guys made me and for the gifts and messages, for the purikura moments, for the wishes and cards and little notes, thanks for the crazy picture frenzy, thanks for the prayers and encouragement, thanks for the little baby shoes :), thanks for meeting up with me before i leave, thanks for the calls.

i’ll be really busy tomorrow, checking into a hotel later in the evening so the next time i come online’s probably when i’m already down under. keep in touch alright? i’m gonna miss you people an awful awful lot :( lotsa love!
