panic! because they rock.

ooh i’ve just been told ballack scored both goals <3 not that i wanted chelsea to win of course. anyways yesterday was a holiday for me in conjunction with anzac day. i’ve always been totally oblivious to what it is. when i saw it in the calender i was like, oh cool another holiday. but we had this ceremony in school on wednesday and there was an ex-soldier guy who’s been in the army for 20 years, part of those years included being stationed in malaysia (this is where i perked up a lil because the speech was really boring T.T) should check out his chest okay… a whole row of medals i used to only see in cartoons. anyways anzac stands for the australian and new zealand army corps who fought in gallipoli during the first world war. it’s basically a day to remember their sacrifice for the country. was watching the news and apparently about 30000 people gathered to celebrate and there were aussies in gallipoli too. really amazing spirit.

okay so for the really really exciting news!!! on thursday, i saw this magazine in the library and my heart skipped a beat.

now for my 100 hours of supervised driving :( i heard in msia you’re only required 40 hours, here so mafan T.T

oh yeah, during the car ride there i heard this advert on radio. there’s this noisy background of little kids and teens going “daddy i don’t like vegetables!” “daddy, help me with my homework!” “daddy she’s been in the bathroom for AGES i need to use it!” “daddy can you drive me to school?”

at first i was like eh so cute wan. and then

“tired of having children? get a vasectomy!!”

alright the weekends are here :D this week flew by pretty quickly. neways friday was really fun. most of my form mates were at a camp i didnt wanna go for so lots of classes were half empty. during bio, we watched what was called “the greatest wildlife show on earth”. i think it lives up to its name :) it was a documentary on various types of animals at different parts of the world during different seasons. alot like what you see on discovery channel. the camera effects never fail to amaze me, there’s so much detail and they get such close shots of the animals. i dunno how they do it but it’s so cool. we just watched the vid throughout the lesson. i love it when teachers don’t teach!

then during chemistry, we were introduced to our next assignment : testing water quality. we’re supposed to take water samples from the creek and apparently there’s like 4 in school o.o so our teacher took us to two of the sites, which isn’t the same as the one i went to during my previous bio class. this time there was a steep downhill slope and alot of trees and branches to push aside x.x then we had to adorn in these things called weighters, it’s like these really long boots which goes right up to your chest like overalls and you just slip them on and go wading in the creek :D then when you’re done, take them off and there you go! clothes still dry :D

that’s bess in her weighters i know it looks damn weird right? apparently they cost like 250 bucks a piece, makes no sense to me xD

on the way back xD notice everyone’s just dragging them across the field? haha.

then on saturday i checked out a store with this massive collection of music cds and movies and dvds and tv series. it’s alot like tower records, they’re all alphabetically arranged according to different themes

panic! i dunno why they got rid of their ! :( it’s like the coolest part of their name lor. and this album’s pretty disappointing. the first one is still way better but nvm i still love you panic!

gym heroes

okays so i went back to the driving place with my student card this time, guess what? i don’t have a proof of residence so i couldn’t take the test again. i was like hello, do you think people send electric and phone bills to my name? obviously it’s under my parents’ names right! but nooo it’s gotta have my name on it. and no of course i don’t have a credit card yet >( so the only way was for me to get it from my school T.T i just got it yesterday from the principal o.O i dunno when’s the next time i’ll go cause it’s closed on weekends and i finish school kinda late on weekdays. darn annoying lor. sigh, hopefully the third time’s the charm.

on a happier note, i went to fitness first today :D i’m not sure if i’ve mentioned this before but yeah, i think i have. it’s compulsary for us to join a sport and that’s what i ended up in. all this while they made us do like aerobics and mat exercises and work outs on bikes but today we got to work on the treadmills! my favourite machine! :D and this time i’ve got pictures
