i plop my bag right next to yours with obvious panic written across my face and immediately go “did we have any homework?”. you smile and shake your head reassuringly and slightly amused.

brief encounters, we shared outside the perpetually bustling corridor of the F block before our math lessons. brief though they might be, i am still thrown by the sudden turn of events. as is everyone else.

chrissie, it’s been such a pleasure knowing you. i really hope you know that you’re so loved, especially in school. God bless you, your family and loved ones.

panic

i’ve been so bogged down with assignments and due dates lately that i totally forgot about the panic concert till the night before T.T it’s so unlike me not to count down the days till the event sigh very stressed lately. it was definitely a much needed break. what will i do without you panic :)

80% of the crowd were girls hahah can you blame us with brendon as the lead? <3 and we saw this group of girls darn semangat ok they were adorned in black top hats, red suits and white gloves!

hmm wonder where they got that idea from.

they took ageeess though, the concert started at 7 and they only came on at 9.30!! there were like 3 opening acts from apparently well known bands but i’ve never heard of them before. the academy is… and cobra starship. huh, right?

but it was worth the wait. they sound so so awesome live! they started with the first song of the pretty. odd album.

so appropriate right! i just wanted to point that out :P and they had this super cool backdrop. it looked like an lcd screen to me but i was told that it’s prolly just a projector but it’s still so cool i dunno how to describe it! most of the time there was this pretty garden image like the one on their album cover, other times like during their performance of “that green gentleman” there were these green men moving across the screen >) and then there was this tree at the centre of the stage which looked pretty odd. ahem.

cute right the mikes were all flower-themed and there were like christmas lights around them too. i honestly think panic’s the only band who can pull off a flower theme without looking gay.

the countdown drum routine was so cool was it not! okay that’s the extent of what i can say about the opening ceremony because i fell asleep soon after and got up just when it ended x.x it’s two hours ahead over here okay so it went pass 2 am T.T
