a furry affair

am i really crazy to be anticipating high school musical 3? ;S its being shown everywhere right now except here. guess when it’s gonna be released? in december!!! and TWILIGHT, no not november 21st like pretty much everywhere else in the world, but december!!! agh! i am not liking australia right now why why do you do this to me why why why :( :( :( :( :( :(

so i was left to watch how to lose friends and alienate people which is a pretty funny show actually.

sigh anyways on a brighter note, simba and duchess will finally be here in 5 days time :D they had to go through 5 months of quarantine in msia and another month in sydney with multiple tests in between and one heck of a fee. that’s why they’ve not been here with me all this time. i don’t think it’s as strict as this anywhere else in the world. again, loving australia right now x.x

i’m so excited i can’t wait to see them! we’ve got all their stuff ready, just bought a new brush the other day and 4 different bowls to choose from.

on friday my bio teacher finally managed to get all of us to bring our textbooks with a bring-it-or-face-my-wrath threat. unfortunately for me i had maths on the same day so my bag weighed a ton T.T that aside, i have some of the coolest teachers in school, seriously. they recently filmed this segment that’s a spoof of so you think you can dance with their very own so you think teachers can’t dance. and if you’ve seen so you think you can dance you’ll know how it works. basically there’re pairs who dance against other pairs each week and they get random dance themes like jazz, broadway and such. in this case a pair of teachers from the same faculty compete against pairs from other faculties and it’s so completely hillarious! i really hope they put up the vid on youtube.

there’s a semi-formal on the last day of school with a fancy dress dresscode. a guy in my class was deciding on whether he should come dressed as condom. he was asked, “if you’re dressed in a condom, what does that make you?” haha i just found that really funny xD anyways hope you guys are having a good weekend :)

eggsperiment

i did four loads of laundry today. hope i don’t kill the washing machine and dryer o.o with mom in msia, dinner duties are now held by dad and i though i gotta say, i’m really bad at it. the dinner i made on monday night was an epic failure :( ended up heating microwavable mac and cheese. i’ve got the sweetest neighbour ever though, she made these awesome beef patties for us two nights ago and it saved us a dinner to prepare. dinner preparations with dad has been really amusing though with what we would deem trying to clear out as much stuff from the fridge as creativity. allow me to introduce the pizza omelet:

it’s an omelet with onions and mushrooms topped with cheese.

despite the weird looking picture, it was really good and i had several helpings hehe but then again i love pretty much anything with mushrooms. we managed to convince dad that forgetting about the green peppers in the fridge is totally okay and probably for the best since there would prolly not be enough eggs to hold em all together x.x

a lot’s been happening lately and the blogging’s kinda dwindled. walking home friday was really pleasant, windy and cool, not a threatening black cloud in the sky. didn’t stop us from getting ice cream though. baileys mmm. the heat’s been absent for the past few days, not that i’m complaining. i’ve just been wary about bringing my jumper along cause i keep expecting it to get hot again.

there was recently a school captain event in school where all the hopefuls give a speech and the rest of us get to vote for our preference. it was pretty cool, stood in such stark contrast to the sbu days when us students don’t even get a say on who the next head prefect’s gonna be. but being the school captain here’s more about making a change in the school and hardly about rule enforcement so i guess there’s a difference there. anyways it was interesting listening to the speeches at the beginning, one guy even stripped out of his school tie and shirt to reveal a superman shirt, but it got pretty long and draggy towards the end and i got really restless.

i’ve been hooked on the twilight saga, currently almost done with breaking dawn. i love the intense exchanges between bella and edward. in the words of miss steel, i’ve officially fallen in love with edward cullen <3 though i think it’s difficult for any girl not to, unless they’re jacob black fans. i understand now what all the fuss over the books are about. though many say it’s the new harry potter, i think the two are totally different. there’s lotsa injected humour, alice and emmett are the bestest! kinda reminds me of fred and george of harry potter… and there are lotsa werewolf references hmm…

i like this! but it doesn’t really make sense cause non-readers won’t know who the volturi is. let this be a motivation to you to give it a read :) student free day tmrw, life’s goood.

eventful and exhausting first day of school.

wake me up when september ends

i woke up to silence and darkness. i was on the cool wooden floor, head sunk into a pillow and all around me, the curtains were drawn especially for me. for a while i just lay there, feeling the light throb against my head; the very reason for my previous slumber. slowly, i get up painfully aware that as i did, so was the intensity of the throbs. please don’t come back, i here myself say. i sat there for a while, allowing the swirling to settle and subside. thankfully, it did. standing up was a whole other affair.
